I was under my truck the other day and for whatever reason, this stood out to me as looking odd. These have been installed for at least 6 months, and either Ive never noticed or something has changed. Shouldnt these be 'flush' with the other leaf springs at the edges? All four ends look like this so I am assuming its ok but would love some reassurance and or an explanation as to why. TIA!

Yellow seems short to me, as does the Red one (maybe broken). The green one being flat is normal, that's the overload for when you compress the rest downwards, but it should rest against another leaf above it that is at least as long as it is. They should be in sequence from longest at the top to shortest at the bottom as far as I know.

Total of 5 leafs plus the AAL. top to bottom, #1 & 2 are the same length, 3,4,& 5 are progressively shorter. Its definitely intentional and not broken as both sides are symmetrical., and ends are champhered.

Thanks for the reassurance on the flat AAL. That was my big concern.

FWIW: I have 4 leafs on my 2014 (factory) and the bottom overload one is straight, much shorter, and the end mucis h closer to it's neighbor above: the space between them is no more than half an inch.

 No problem! I would have added a pic but it has been raining here for seven months. :rain:
