2014 tacoma, I was driving about 400 miles from home, here is what happened. About 10 times while driving the truck at various interstate highway speeds, my truck seemed to stall for like 1 -2 second. All lights on the dash would go on for 1-2 seconds, go right back off, drive completely normal afterwards. Also radio each time restarts / reboots when this happens like when you start truck. A few times this occurred while hard braking. A few times while hard braking just radio recycled. One time it happened while driving with the cruise control at 75 MPH when I turned the lights on.

I got to destination luckily. I called all the trusted mechanics and no one is available for like 2 weeks to look at it. I took it to AutoZone, there were no codes. I did notice the positive battery cable was really really loose. I'm wondering thoughts if this could be problem?

I tightened the cable and have driven like 30 miles after tightening, no issues, but sometimes it would drive like 100 miles before happening again. Hoping I can make it back home at least.

Yeah. A loose connection at the battery Gould have been your problem.
Your problem sounds just like a power failure.

Definitely could have but if it keeps doing it then you will need to investigate further.

I wanted to give an update, I drove back from Minnesota to Texas. It never happened again. So after 1000, I'm 99% sure the loose battery cable was it. I wanted to give update in case anyone else has the same issue in the future.
