2023 black, trd sport

[edit/Update: already traded hoods with someone who also had a 2023 in same color code.]

My first post and main reason for joining is to find a matching trade for my scooped hood for a plain scoopless hood. If you wanna trade hoods and have a newer similar truck, please let me know! Color is black FD/16 (0202/17).

also to learn about things to watch out for, camping setup ideas. Plan on staying mostly stock except for winter wheels/tires.

Just plain “BLACK” So I don’t think it’s the same as metallic midnight. I included the color code [ FD/16 (0202/17) ]. from the window sticker. I’ll look and see if another code appears on the truck itself somewhere when i get a chance.

 

I guess the 2023 went back to just black then. I’m not sure if that will match the 2016-2018 either then.

I guess the hood swap devalues it, maybe, since the scoops seem more wanted, but i don’t like things that are totally non-functional, but look like they should be.
What do you think a fair amount would be for a scooped hood with a trade?
(seen people asking a range of amounts, as much as $700)

Yeah, people ask for up to 7-800. I’m not if they are sold for that. I’ve not heard anyone take a loss with swapping hoods. But not everyone posts after they sell or trade in their trucks.
