Found this online for a good deal but it has quite a large rip. Softopper sells repair kits which are basically just clear vinyl tape.
Could an upholstery shop do a good job of repair or is tape the only option?
Is it worth trying to buy and repair?

An Amish buggy shop - if you live near Amish country - or a boat cover shop could likely repair that. Possibly sewing a wider piece on the inside of each seam, so not really noticable from the outside other than the added stitches.

    Just some stuff...
Somebody a while back showed a repair job they had done because somebody had sliced theirs open. It really didn’t look bad at all if I remember correctly.
