Question for you guys: I'm an avid road-tripper, so I'm always doing long drives with lots of miles between stops. I go offroading often and have been contemplating getting my truck set up with long travel. Front to start and then shortly after the rear will be done. My question for you all is does anyone do any long road trips with long travel? If so give me some pros and cons, how bad is the tire wear does it handle like shit while doing 75mph?

I'm currently running King 2.5's on my truck with SPC UCA's and i absolutely love the way it rides on and off road, these really handle anything you throw at them. ill be moving out to the desert soon and want to get into the long travel scene. Plus Long travel looks amazing on these trucks.IMG_9014 2.HEIC.jpg

It’s really like any other suspension when it comes to street use. If it’s setup right it likely won’t feel much different. My longest trip so far was a little over 2000 miles and truck road like a dream the entire way. Most LT kits run uniballs so get used to some squeaking at lower speeds over bumps.

Your alignment will determine tire wear - all legitimate kits provide alignment to be at factory spec plus with better caster angles.

yep what @Dalandser said. My tires show even wear like they should. The LCA has its alignment locked with welded in tabs, and the UCA has adjustable heims. I have the solo xlt kit but any LT kit would follow the same alignment principles.
