Costa Rica. Just finishing up the business end of the trip. It's a long way to go to the dentist, but the savings pays for most of the trip. Snapped a stud off for an implant, covered by warranty here. :D I have two implants, he looked at the other and said I'm going to make you two new crowns. Everything should be wrapped up tomorrow.

Saturday we leave the big city for the Caribbean coast for a couple of weeks, apparently the food is terrific, heavy Jamaican influence. Haven't seen that part of the country yet.

This is the restaurant we ate lunch at yesterday.

Obligatory Toyota photo. I don't know if these are around in north America or not? :notsure:

Sure is depressing nice to go to a developing country and have 50x faster internet.

Cell service for 30 days with tons of data and a sim card was under $20 USD.

We were forced to learn sit through some french in school. The only time I can ever recall any is when I'm trying to speak Spanish. :annoyed: I consider French utterly useless, Spanish would have been a much better choice.

We had French in school (all they offered), had to pass that to graduate. But i already knew Spanish...which would have been better.

Truck driver said the car rolled out of the parking lot in front of him, nobody was in it

Good thing he cut it off, may have hit my truck if not. It would have been the front, I'm backed in today :anonymous:

If yawl thought USPS tracking and package delivery was awful, you should try and have your mail forwarded to your new address, out of state :frusty:

Well, last week on Lawn Care with Rusty we had an entertaining diversion, "The Case of the Flaming Hat".

Today we are back to our regularly scheduled program, the long running series of "Old Man and the :censored: Tires"...

Opened the shed to find this:

    KIMG3394.jpg

Naturally it was off the bead, I keep some supplies handy for just this circumstance.

    KIMG3395.jpg

The ZT is easy to lift with just a bar on some kind of block. Tough to hold the bar & air up the tire though.

Fortunately I had that new tire I got on clearance at Slowes already mounted - it was hard as a 10 ply truck tire, so I left it with 30 psi for a few weeks to teach it to behave.

    On to the mowing. :bikewhoops:
