The Morimoto amber fogs are kind of a unique color. How can I get my running lights to match?

Are you referring to the newer Morimoto 4banger fog pods?

In short you shouldn't. The Morimoto banger fogs are selective yellow, not amber. Selective yellow is the most ideal color for a foglight for best performance in poor weather. Forward facing turn signals are required to be amber. Selective yellow is not a valid or legal color for a turn/DRL, because of this you will not find products for turn/DRL in selective yellow, they are required to be amber.

While the aesthetics of not matching lights may bother some, fogs should only be run in poor weather when visibility is poor at reduced speeds, so people are not going to see that your fogs and DRLs don't match except in very poor weather when they are more focused on staying on the road.

It’s for the older Amber fogs. Correct, you only see the difference in color in bad weather.

Ah, yes those are actually amber. You are looking for something with an output color peak of 599nm. The amber Morimotos are too monochromatic for a color temp in kelvin. If you have replaced your incandescent DRLs, I'd be sure to look for incandescent bulbs with the 'NA' designation on the end and not A. NA means natural amber glass, which produces a darker amber output. "A" means amber, but it is a coating on clear glass, which does not produces as dark of an amber output and tends to flake off over time so that the bulbs become less amber. As far as LED alternatives to match at 599nm, I do not have any.
