Help with Fox suspension or ICON

I want to lift my car 3-4 inches and I have a 2020 Toyota Tacoma trd-off road 4x4 Crew and I am just looking at the suspension and things like that I really want a fox or Icon and plan on possible snow/heavy rain/offroading. I am just more curious what I will need to complete the kit or if you have any kits to recommend I am not looking to spend over 2000 if possible and this what I am looking at right now.

(Yes I know that these only go 2.75 for my car but looking for a possibility of ones that go 3-4)

Thank you for your response do you know of any kits that are pre built that you would recommend with ADS? Also I am new to this can you elaborate please to make me explain better

 

Ok thank you for explaining I guess what I mean by pre-built is something that comes with everything in the box no fuss and will raise my car and let me put the bigger wheels and such on.

I do drive on roads a lot too so that is a point also.

 

Well with a suspension lift I can have larger tires no?

 

Ok thank you what would I need than for the larger tires and the lift but not straying away from the original nice suspension?

 

Yes a cab mount chop but I am really trying to not cut my car if possible.

 

I had a 2 1/2 inch Icon lift on my 4runner with a body mount chop. But Fox is equally good.

I would get somebody who knows what they are doing to install it because your choice of springs and how you set up the suspension could give you a ridiculously plush ride or just beat you up on the bumps.

 

yea I talked to some place near me and they said they would do a simple 400 kit and cost like 1800 with labor and alignment

 

Ok so you are saying I should get a cut and a kit? if so please recommend a kit that will allow the larger tires with a cut.

 

Now I realize extreme terrain is lying on there description of kits

How do we go from ICON and Fox, which are considered to be premium high end suspensions to hockey pucks?

Yea man it is what they recommended on the phone.

 

I spoke to a ADS rep and he said just get a front shock and level it out with after market controls and I could get a size up on the tires for front and back no problem

Yea man I checked out @AccuTune Offroad but they had a lot of kits that were over my budget by a bit.

 

No I said that they quoted me that for the height nothing more and the total with/ including install and alignment was 1800.
