Sorry, my ignorance proceeds me. I don't know a thing about wheel spacers, but physics tells me that it's not a good idea. What is the current thought on wheel spacers, quality of spacers from one to another, and limit on how far one should/can safely poke out?

I bow down to the collective wisdom at TW.

None is the limit for me. The way things are engineered to reduce costs today, it's amazing that wheel bearings and ball joints survive for as long as they do. I don't care to add accessories that reduce the life of my truck. Especially the ones that don't offer any improvement of performance or reliability. Wheel spacers fall directly into this category.

You know, after seeing how down right poorly engineered the OEM needle bearing was during my ECG bushing replacement, I completely agree with your reduced costs comment.

I thought the question was going to be about how far can wheels poke out before it starts to look stupid. And coincidentally, zero is the limit for that too.
