Thank you I got 3 Costco totes full of unopened. I just need to remind myself to stop buying..it’s kinda like ammo. You can never stop buying

 

Finally tried one of these Makers Mark Private Selection. Not bad, not sure it’s worth the price though.

Just missed its 4th birthday

 

I’m in San Diego for a few days (Coronado island to be specific) and walked into a liquor store on my way home from dinner. as I was walking by on the sidewalk, I could see a variety of weller and such so I thought, lets go inside and see what the prices is. I was amazed on the selection, as they had WLW, GTS, a number of Pappy bottles, plus 12yr, CYPD and SB Weller - the price was hard to see, so I asked on the 12yr and CYPB, thinking it was an opportunity to add to my collection. But when the clerk said $499 for 12yr Weller……I laughed at him and said you must not sell that very often then and it explains your collection of bottles up there. He didn’t care for that and said he sells it frequently…I dont know if that’s right or not, but ha! $500 for that is crazy! But I do love that they had a great collection of bottles

 

Costco in Morena has Weller FP on order. Likely due this week. Item #1391743
They had Blantons on Monday, likely sold out by now though

 

Just gotta make sure there’s enough room on the credit limit.

Highlight of today was getting EH small batch at 45.00 . Local store had blantons and EH small batch. She allowed me to get two of each. Rolex boutique feels lol.

About a week ago the local bourbon group posted the same store selling blantons gold, eh SB, Eh rye, stagg Jr. And ETL all at msrp. Weller 12 and FP was secondary prices .

 

Dang, I didn't even notice that.

And, you can get my 15 for less than it's bringing in that package deal.

 

Why sell everything else at retail and the Weller at secondary? That’s odd.

Weller was not purchased at this store…I purchased it separately elsewhere.
