I'm on the process of rebuilding the transmission on my 2007 5 speed manual transmission.

    The truck is 2WD, 2.7 L.

The machine shop has chipped the 5th gear (driven) while pulling it to replace the bearing in front of the gear. See Attachment.

The machine shop at here Advance Auto in Mobile AL is not doing well sourcing this gear.

I believe the correct P/N is 33336-35120. Local Toyota dealership shows it back ordered.

It comes up at one of the online Toyota dealers, but they sometimes will take orders for parts they don't actually have.

I don't want this to turn into a hobby project, I need to get the tranny back together and back in the truck!

    Any ideas or help?

    Thanks in advance.
