I put on a set of 235/75r15 tires and 15x7 (-6 offset) wheels. I've read here that these tires will fit just fine but I didn't consider the fact the wheels I put on are wider and have considerably more offset than stock which is causing it to slam into the fender on bumps.

That said, I like the way the truck looks right now and I can't get these wheels in any other offset, so I'd like to keep them.

I've been looking into lifting options and I think I'll go with some 2" front coil spring spacers. I don't want to mess with compressing the spring to get them on so I'll have a shop do it.

    My questions are:
    1) Do I need to worry about brake line length with a 2" lift?
    2) Any components I need to change/upgrade to accommodate the lift?
    3) Will a 2" lift be enough to prevent the wheel slamming into the fender? Image attached below.
    4) Will brand new OEM coil springs and new front shocks raise it up a bit? I read springs sag over time and I think these are the originals from 24 years ago. Also the shocks are bouncy in the front and may be causing it to compress more over bumps.

The truck is currently not drivable the way it sits now, the tires did damage the silver fender liners a bit from bumps as you may see, the other side is worse. I hope I can just get new liners and the body isn't damaged.

If you need any more info let me know. Thanks!

with a taller tire you will 100% want a lift. Likely fender liners and other things will need to be removed. the wider offset is going to pose problem but if yo are trying to run the taller tire with no lift or changes this is expected. You should be fine with a 2" lift without new brake lines. If its mainly street driving it will not be an issue but even 2" is not big. 2-3" lift should be okay.

add a leaf and updated shocks up front. low-end Bilstein 5100's an add a leaf or even a block if you're looking cheap. block is not my choice but it's a cheap option. Until you get that toss the stock wheels back on.
