    evening gang

Had to get a print out from my cpap machine to take to the sleep doc next week.... guy brought out the pages, with only 3 months worth of data..... looked at the dates, it was what they printed last year, with none of the new data. Finally got the correct data.... Will see what the doc says... if I even get to see him... only got to see the PA last year. Fun times.

    Be safe out there.

That should NOT be that hard - I'm sorry! The only thing the heart Docs I see care about is the EVENTS (apnea). I have it on the phone - I show them the charts, and they barely look. But I know from reading that 1.5 to 2 is my norm, 5 is my goal, and 10 is what they are glad I am under!

You should demand a modern update to make it easier.

I got the PA this time, because Doc was on hospital duty. But my Echo test had her thrilled. My "capability percentage" on the heart, whatever they call it - was 25% when I got sent to the hospital. Now at above 65%, and that is normal or above!

Since April I've been putting the data in an Excel file.... I'm usually under 2, with many days under 1. As long as it keeps me out of afib and the ER, I'm good. Will see what the doc's say. Some days it's 4 or 5. I wasn't keeping track of the data during the 2 episodes I've had since I started using the machine.

    Congratulations, you will enjoy retirement.

I thought Texas may allow a clear timt. Each state is different with the window tint they allow.

Good morning. Leaving for the beach in the late afternoon. Today is a simple one, haircut and minor grocery shopping. Everyone have a decent weekend.

They have finally broken ground on the big expansion project here at work. 35,000 sq.ft. addition, which brings us up to just over 100k. At least I have something to watch while I sit here and bide my time until I retire.

    Time to download OSCAR!

    https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

About once per quarter, I grab the SD card, dump it into my computer, and replace the card. Then run OSCAR on the latest data.

Sleep Doc (Neurologist), heart doc (Cardiologist), and Lung Doc (Pulmonary Doc) all like the "one page at a glance" results.

The latest brain pacemaker (Deep Brain Stimulator) has helped keep the brain on track, reducing central apnea.

    Data from days before DBS:

CO2 Dysfunction (tidal volume should be constant and adjust for CO2 in the bloodstream)

I slept well last night. I go to bed when I get sleepy, so that was 2 AM—I slept until 8 AM. I usually sleep about 7.0 hours per night, with no naps.

Central Apneas still occur but don't last long.

"CA" is a clear airway (no obstruction, but you fail to breathe)—autonomic dysfunction. I'm not too fond of hospital stays as my blood pressure varies all over the place, and the alarms keep going off. Keep me out of hospitals to get a restful night's sleep.
