Well Today is the first time I’ve blacklisted an address. Stupid tight, stupid steep and with multiple hairpins to get to the guys house. Super nice guy and beautiful little slice of heaven in the mountains but just not worth the risk if something going wrong. Had to back under his car port to 6 point turn around in his driveway.
oh and did I mention it’s a cliff edge. Not a lot spooks me but god dam that road … goat path did something.

 

Looks like some of the places my previous employer would send me to.

 

If only photos could actually show how steep it was.

 

Oh trust me I know, I'm in the mountains of WNC they sent me to places I thought I would not get to or out of.

Hahaha, I wouldn’t be able to get a lowboy within 3 miles of his place. That would be one long way to track.

 

On my route there was a rxr crossing and it used to screw up all the new and OTR drivers. Sign lowboy hangup warning. When they would see me roll right over it they would hollar out at me. Wouldn't even slow down

 

Knowing which ones you can push and which can’t is a skill. Ive got one right by my house that I wouldn’t be able to cross. So annoying because otherwise I’d definitely take my truck home with me so I could easily jet off to the pits quicker.

 

Overcast, light rain, it's very nice. Day off but have to go in for a filling later.

 

Damn, 11 hours yesterday. Someone didn't get the memo, apparently. I'm trying to skate smoothly into retirement here.

 

Picked up my truck from repair this .owning. got about 2 .Iles away and blew a coolant hose, fuk!
Just a clamp, back up and running with my old p.o.s.
But at least the air conditioner works!

 

Well it looks like I’m about to get back in the game. After taking some time away since the Yellow implosion it’s time to rejoin the workforce. I start in a couple of weeks. I’ll be racking up the miles too, maybe 10 a day moving trailer’s between buildings A B and C. Looking forward to it.

Got my truck back. When I turn right/left my horn goes off. Pulled the relay. Who needs a horn when you got these!
