Good Morning Everyone! Happy Friday, last one in September. When I was a kid it seemed like it took forever to turn 18 to graduate, then 21, The years seem to fly by now.

@TacoGlenn I remember that one, how about the Frito Bandito and Tootsie roll pop commercials.

 

Check out the thread in the 3rd gen about hi tech car thieves. It sorta makes sense all the technology we have to make things seem easier is causing hardship to, for some. We have smart everything now. I have that 870 theft deterrent installed in my place.

They are drilling holes in the foundation for rebar to attach the new expansion to the existing building. Said foundation wall is also the outside wall of my office.

Imagine a 6-foot-tall angry hornet beating his wings within spitting distance. My whole desk is vibrating.

Only took a little nap to recover! Gave my blood sample, Shingles, Flu, Pneumonia vaxes, Spectrum return, AND finally got someone on the phone so I can return my glasses they made wrong. That's a good day..... Happy weekend, everyone!

 

Wouldn't have gotten the shingles one with any others....

 

Was a long time ago (01/21) I got the first round. These are all "known vaxes" that have been around, and I've never had any reactions. I will pick up the new Covid in a couple weeks. I'd like to not mix that one. Walgreens would have let me pick 4, but I opted to wait. My neck was stiff after my nap, but that easily can be from sleeping in the chair!!

 

As long as you didn't have a reaction.... I got the chills and basically felt off the next day, after both of them. Don't usually get a reaction to the flu. My doc already scheduled my pneumonia shot for the end of Jan. I'll be looking for a flu and covid shot very soon. will see if the cardiologist has them next week, if not I'll head to the pharmacy

WTH, it's the middle of the night, but archery season opens today! As usual, it's too warm, we'll be lucky if we see anything.
I picked up a bonus for my hunting buddy, a pack of Parodi cigars, last year $5.00 something+ tax, this year $7.99+ tax!
