So my fridge is back to cooling, cooling almost too well - had to turn up the temp by a degree!!
Gonna shove it back in its hole later today

I'm gonna sit tight for now and not replace the thing.
I sorted out how it works and all that shit.
I am pretty sure I can diagnose most issues with it + repair most of it too... maybe I'll look into how available parts are - that is the only loose end for now.

You say your fridge is 30yr old - what brand is it?
This gives me some hope that it'll be okay going forward + y'all be correct in the fact that they don't make shit like they used to..
Not tryin to make more problems for myself.

 

There is one - it is in Cary - aka South Jersey and/or Bombay/Mumbai
I go over there, very very rarely these days....

I work in a whole animal butcher shop - each week we get in ~2 cows [cut in 1/4] and ~4 pigs [cut in 1/2]
Everything is made from those animals.

 

They have a hatch Chile bacon, a honey and orange bacon and applewood bacon that are all really good.

I think that's objectively true.
Parents these days freak out when their kids get a little sick.
They need exposure to bacteria... within reason.

Then there's all the kids these days who supposedly have asthma.
Mind you, some do.
But others grow out of it.
I myself had a ton of allergies... had.

I had many miserable bouts of sickness from raw milk.
Milk fever (as they used to call it), angry tummy, etc.
But then again, and as I mentioned earlier...
Mrs Gritto says I have a cast iron stomach... and there's a reason for that.
