    • I put 2023 trd rims with 200 miles on my 2012 tacoma, light was off but later came on... The truck sat for a couple of days and the next time the truck was driven it was off. It came on while driving later on.

Now it flashes on startup or acc/on, The button under the dash dont do nothing at this point...

I set all tires to 33.5

Any suggestions? I will disconnect the battery now

I'm pretty sure 3rd gen TPMS sensors aren't compatible with 2nd gen trucks.

Yeah it sure does look good. For most of this year I've been dealing with the flashing then steady TMPS light. One or more of the 5 (The 2007's spare have one) sensors isn't communicating. I'm used to it now.

Drive longer than 20 minutes and it should come back on.

Regardless even if you put on a set of 2012 rims and tpms it needs to be programmed, but a 3rd gen will not program and is not compatible. They do not auto program.

Just drive it if it doesnt concern you. It's just a nanny feature, it has no effect on the truck whatsoever.
