I don't know id the procedure I've used in the past to adjust the rear brakes works on a 3rd gen or not and haven't found any decent info on it. I don't use the Ebrake/parking brake much and i know that using it helps adjust the rear pads apparently. Is it still recommended on occasion to put the car in reverse roll back a bit and Use the ebrake to stop the truck to help the adjusting wheel inside the drum work. I know with the 2nd gen this is one of the methods used to " force" ( for lack of a better term) the rear pads to adjust correctly.

The auto adjust claim is a myth, pulling the ebrake will click it up it if its miles out, but drums absolutely need adjusting with time.

Every tire rotation, so at least every 10,000 miles. Max is 20,000 miles.

    Drums are awesome when maintained.
