Black shiny fenders work well with this body color

    Shiny black fenders works well with shiny black body. For at least five minutes.

    I actually like that, wife's RX is black, so no go on this for my next truck. Less offensive when all the same color than the others.

    Toyota is really leaning into Jeep styling territory with all that exposed front tire tread and those wide flares.

    Black does seem to look really good on this truck. I kinda like the shiny painted fenders opposed to the matte finish that’ll probably fade. It doesn’t matter though because I’m gonna scratch them on the trails

    Black, Underground, and darker colors like the blue are emerging as better looking choices b/c it hides a lot of the extraneous bulges, creases, & lines, including the odd fit of the rear bumper.

    Black in particular diminishes some of the visual disproportion between the gonzo-big wheel arches and OEM wheel/tires. Plus the front end appears more menacing when the “tears” that drop from the headlights are blended in, and out back, it de-emphasizes the shorty rear side windows.

    Yep, just paint the whole thing black, and call it a day.
