California is in the top three most beautiful places in America. It's the politics that cause the problem and that's not you of course.

20-30 years ago maybe. I grew up in some beautiful country that you can no longer venture in to. If you haven't seen it, watch "Murder Mountain".

When you think about people who reach that age, you ask yourself, what's worse? To lose the body or mind? I apolgize for such a morbid thought:anonymous:, but it crosses my mind when i see those who have lived for so long.

I hear you. I turned 60 in May, and like many here, arthritis is already starting to take its toll. The knees, hips, back, the neck even the hands. I went to the ortho yesterday about by right knee just killing me. Even my kneecap has been shifting and popping. I thought maybe it was the meniscus. He showed my the x-ray they took and said, "it's not your meniscus. Your meniscus is shreddded, gone. it's arthritis." Of course the image was bone on bone. I found a sleeve like brace I use helps a good deal, especially stabilizing the kneecap.

I was surprised that Silver Gate got that much and when I researched it further it might be closer to 200 inches a year. 5 different websites said different amounts. Who knows!

Just a hint of Cajun spice, a little char on the fat and a soothing bottle of Hawaiian punch fruit punch to wash it down with...a little sliced tomato and some refried beans on the side, dinner was awesome.

I caught on to my mom serving some kind of fruit or a little sweet with pork a long time ago...it works. The punch is those sugar free packets.

I do a thing with pork loin roast. Some grey poupon and a few other spices rubbed all over. In the oven and then add some diced apples and cranberries to it for the last 20 minutes or so. So yummy

That sounds great. But that's one cut of meat I just can't get to cook moist. I don't like chicken breast or turkey breast either. I've had plenty of loin but it's usually floating in gravy.

    Good evening gang.

Applesauce for me. I used to go to a BBQ joint run by Jamaicans, they turned me on to the applesauce with the BBQ ribs.

I got home and was looking forward to some progress on the deck stairs, it wasn't meant to be.

That crack wasn't there last night, I have no idea what the hell was going on. I really didn't want to cut another stringer, so I gave it my best shot for a fix. I'm already not liking the stair design, I will re-address it next spring. I just gotta be able to go and down for right now.

There's a nice sunny and warm weekend on tap, I want to accomplish something.
