I noticed a leak coming from between the transfer case and auto trans. Put orange dye in trans and blue dye in transfer case. Cleaned exterior of case and monitored. Month later, oil was all blue. Leak was very slow but there. Had the transfer case pulled. Confirmed that leak was from seal at transfer case input shaft from auto trans. Replaced transfer case input and output seals as well as seal in 4WD shaft going to front diff. Also replaced seal in output of trans. No obvious damage to transfer case input shaft seal. New Toyota seal appeared to have a bigger "lip" on it. Replaced fluid in auto trans & transfer case. Cost was right at $1000 with my local non-dealer shop that I trust. This was an obvious factory defect. Wonder if any others have had this issue. I bought the truck new. This was the first problem I have had with it.

Had same problem with my truck with manual trans at 20k. Was under truck doing the accumulator delete and saw same leak.

Warranty fixed and claim was just a snafu toyota never sees ... go figure.
