    That's awesome.

I'm not that gifted to manufacture Bed Stiffeners...hence my decision to buy them from Total Chaos.

I’ve already considered building my own sliders. Just some round stock welded together. Don’t get me going on the stuff I built for my tractor

I had Total Chaos bed stiffeners on my Gen 2 along with a Snugtop fiberglass shell. For me the really useful thing about the stiffeners was the extra tie down points. I just got a new 3rd Gen Tacoma and have added an Alu-Cab Canopy (probably half the weight of the SnugTop). I will still add Total Chaos bed stiffeners to the new truck just to have the tie down points.

I did not want to splash on the skid when I changed the oil so just dropped first. Now I can attach the drain hose with little splash risk.

Build them from platinum and post a sign saying that. Tweakers will ignore your catalytic converters.

All chrome headlight housings ain't foolin' anyone. But basically, if you change absolute every aesthetic feature, you might be able to fool someone. If that's the goal.

Not a huge fan, but that is clean. One of the best I’ve seen.

Manual rear tcase swap today. Still need to make a shift boot for my dual case shifter, but I'll get there some year haha. Will be doing a hydro ebrake handle sometime as I run disks in the rear, so that will be my "emergency" brake/secondary brake system.

It’s not for everybody, but Thanks. I took my time for sure. A little nerve racking drilling and cutting into a 9 month old truck. But, it was necessary for the tires. Still have a little work to do in the rear of the front fender well. The cut definitely helped with tire clearance though.

Installed Uni Filter in place of the internal foam that has been documented to get sucked into the turbine of the SAIS.

Also took some time to clean up under the hood, touch up the missing paint on my hood latch ring, and clean my interior windows. Needed something to do since I couldn't ride tonight.

    Brand new.
You could just ask your wife if she prefers it stiff or limp. Stiff keeps the bed from bowing outward and the tailgate lines up better, Plus if you have a rack system on your truck like some of us do, it helps maintain stiffness in the bed ensuring your bed doesn't give way if you have a camper on top or a heavy load. Any little bit helps with these, its just another Mod really.
