Has anybody ever bought from Bring A Trailer?

Ran across this website the other day. There are some pretty nice vehicles, and I've seen some pretty sweet Tacoma and Toyota Pickups pop up from time to time.

Has anyone ever bought from there or heard about this site before?

i've got an account there from when there was a really nice 1972 ford ranchero up for auction.

it's like ebay, but for somewhat unique vehicles.

if it's a 1 week listing, there's 6 days of sporadic $100-1,000 "toes testing the water", and then the last day, all rational and reasoning goes out the window, the price spikes to insanity, and the big guns start laying down $30k-70k bids, making you question your life choices and where they got all their money from.

LOL! This is all too true. I don't get how some folks are able to have that much just sitting around to throw at a vehicle they'll drive maybe 1000 miles.

But yeah, it does seem like an ebay but much nicer vehicles. I guess some of the folks bidding in there are the ones that are possibly bidding at Barrett Jackson / Mecum auto auctions

 

I bought my CTS-V on carsandbids. BaT seems to bring even crazier money I feel. 1st gen Tacomas with under 100k miles go for $21k-$35k constantly.
