So i was trying to refill my coolant because it needed it and i bought a prestone 50/50 all vehicle types and i noticed that it was green not pink but i still pour a little it to top it off. Is this going to be an issue or no?

    It will be okay.
I never like to mix fluids when i can help it, but realistically many of the other aftermarket pink versions use the same chemistry as that green prestone.

As long as it meets Toyota coolant specs should be fine . The color is just a dye to distinguish fluid when a leak presents itself .

I’d only use Toyota genuine coolant from your dealership

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Pretty sure that has UV dye in for detecting oil leaks.

Vw is using that dye as a way to protect their warranty.
Some of the newer VWs require a special oil/ additive and their way of proving you used the correct oil in the event of a warranty issue is the green oil color that will show up in a lab sample even if it’s dirty.
