With two floors, this was the largest Lego store I’ve ever been in. Very well laid out and the display builds were next level awesome.

 

London Architecture Set for my son and a Floral Sunflowers set for my daughter. Couldn't do much more than that because we had limited space to carry stuff.

 

Making progress.

 

Got the pieces for the trailer hitch addition for both 60393 and 60347 along with other bits and pieces for who knows what down the road. The technic crane piece works good for adjustable height hitches, thats how I added one to 60282.

 

This makes me happy.

 

I used the Alpine Lodge release as an excuse to get the MT-10 finally. Add it to the collection of their other motorcycles and add the lodge to our growing Christmas village. Wife loves Christmas in general, so I've learned I can use getting that year's village set as an excuse to throw in whatever else I want without "the look." Also got $40 cash back on the MT-10. I've used the Honey browser extension for a while and Lego consistently has the most cash back offers of any other website I've seen on it.

 

Started playing around again a couple days ago

 

Almost there. One more bag to go.

 

So Saturday afternoon I kit bashed 60182 and 60387. I was trying to turn the 5th wheel into a cargo trailer camper conversion, ended up making a trailer almost as long as the original, and had to scavenge pieces from the terrain from 60387 to finish the sides. Didn't come out as well as I'd have liked because I wanted the full kitchen and bed from the original camper. It's decent. Figuring out a way to hitch it to the offroader was a bit tricky till I remembered the hinges from the tent. I'll have to upload a photo when I get home (if I remember).

 

I saw this in the store. I didn’t expect it to be so massive. It look’s brilliant.

 

A nice little guide to this months GWPs. I hate that Lego no longer produces this themselves. Remember it’s while supplies last so the windows could be much much shorter.

 

It's had a moment or two where I had to backtrack a few steps to fix my mistake. When you turn the tail section, it makes the landing gear go down and up. I was so relieved that it actually worked like it was supposed to!

I haven’t built anything Lego since junior high, but this was too cool to pass up.

I’m limiting myself to doing one bag a night to enjoy the build.
