So mostly, where I live, people don't have signal when driving. . .
    BUT
OTW to work, I saw the car in front of me almost go off the road - came up to a curve, didn't see said curve, jerked the wheel at the last minute..

Lots of curves, not the first time I've seen this crap - just a matter of time till someone eats it hard..

They are not driving, they are parked. That row probably has several HC spots.
My wife has a HC parking permit, and she parks the same way, when she can. A lot of people with HC permits tend to open their doors ALL the way and do not care if they ding a car next to them. She care about her RAV4, so she parks over the hash marks, when she can, to give the other HC driver more room.

I have an HC permit, I do this sometimes for similar reasons - but I park straight and don't leave my wheels cocked..

How is this asshole parking? Heaven forbid someone takes up some unused space (that will have zero impact on anyone) to protect themselves from door dinging assholes, I do this all the time, and there’s not a damn thing wrong with it.:crapstorm:

By chance, a few moments later, I end up behind her waiting to exit the parking lot. She sits there while no cars are coming, not moving. So I give her a quick honk of the horn. She proceeds to swing her arms around all crazy haha. Grumpy grandma.

That’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it but I disagree. Partially parking inside a crosshatched line that abuts a curb is harmless (except to people who look for every little infraction as something to complain about) and not wrong, and is nowhere near the same as someone who parks fully inside of a crosshatched section.
They are not one and the same. The post I responded to is of someone who is simply being mindful of their surroundings and respectfully taking up a little bit of space that abuts a curb, and will have zero impact on anyone, to protect that which they work very hard to maintain.
Comparing that person to a lazy asshole who fully parks in a crosshatched section outside of a parking zone is ludicrous.
