Made myself a rear seat delete. 3/4" MDF with 2 coats of epoxy and a single layer of fiber glass wrapped in outdoor carpet. Bottom deck is mounted to the factory seat bolt holes and the rear is mounted to the latch bolt holes. I didn't want those bolts showing so they are counter sunk and plugged with a carpet covered dowel. All in I have about $200 into it. Dug it on reddit. Dig it here too! ;)

For reals though, love to see a shot of the whole setup as well next time you head out!!

How’s the road noise? Thought about doing my back wall as well but the difference just with the seats out is noticeable.

    Work in progress...
Looks Super Great! Wondering a little why all the work to the wood before covering in carpet? Water proofing?

I laid down some sound dampening material on the back wall. Road noise is about the same as factory.

Yeah.. It is made of MDF and water just destroys it. The epoxy sealed it and the fiberglass for a little extra rigidity.

I'd love to do this to my truck- but the goose rear seat delete is over 1000 and I don't have the skills to do this work myself. Beautiful work, by the way!
