    Hello all,

    I've got a 2018 3g TRD OR

Recently I was out hunting and didn't see a cross ditch. Hit it pretty hard, truck was up in the air and came down hard. Myself and the passenger but we're airborne and came down hard on the seats.

I scanned the srs system and found code B1650.

"DTC B1650/32 is set when a malfunction is detected in the occupant classification system circuit."

I find it hard to believe the ECU failed after 1 impact when it was working earlier before hand.

I've tried removing the plugs and letting it sit, removing the battery to let everything reset with no luck.

I can clear the code but it immediately return within seconds.

My next step is to get my buddy's snap on scanner and do a zero point calibration.

Has anyone ran into this issue after an impact off-roading and if so we're you able to remedy it yourself?

Could be as simple as the connector under the seat, have you checked those?

No but I blew the air bags in a rental Nissan Frontier once. This dip came out of nowhere and I caught air. Blew the side curtain air bags only. I believe the truck sensed it was going to roll over.

Sometimes the srs system senses a collision, but doesn't blow the bags. Normally a reset with a proper scanner can fix it. If not you may need a sensor, srs computer, etc to make the fault go away.

Lastly is check all the seat belts. Sometimes just the seat belt will blow (either the retractor, or the buckle that attaches to the seat).

I've tried unplugging all all the plugs and re plugging definitely no loose connections.
