If you just want the usb c plug there are tons of mini adapters available in different configurations (straight, right angle up/down/left/right).

I went shopping for speakers but did not buy, so take this as information and not a recommendation. A couple audio places told me that Kicker gets you more volume with the same power, and that a general rule is to stick with the same brand as each brand has their own ‘sound’. So you could just get Kickers for the door too.
They were also willing to mix/match/upgrade to a higher end HU and speakers but that wasn’t in my plans.
If I upgrade I’ll probably go with DS18s or Kickers for Tweeters and doors. Although many on this forum have been doing a DS18 tweeter only upgrade.

@Fipps that's a very rugged and capable looking set up! Love the BFG's and Methods. The color combination is our favorite as well.

Yea I did pretty much the same thing. When at the shop I quizzed the kid with the torque wrench and he confirmed with a scowl he was torquing them to 85. As is my nature I checked them when I got home and they were fine. I actually loosened them and then retorqued them. I wanted to do another check around 500 miles but forgot to do it before I did 82 mph down I-5. When I checked them yesterday, they all clicked at 85 except a few that were maybe a 16th of a turn off. Star pattern of course. I saw a video of a jacked up Chevy with spacers loose a front wheel and flipped the car that hit it. Always better to be safe than sorry.

I haven’t decided if I’m going to install screws top and bottom yet since they would be mostly cosmetic. It’s turned so it’s easiest for the driver to read the voltage. I used a step drill bit to enlarge the slot where the OEM USB’s were to allow the new charger to sit in the middle.

Not something I did to my truck, but witnessed these two (you can fill in the blank and call them what you want) yesterday.

I would say so. I have no idea why anyone would want to do that.

Can I get a pic of the back of the unit where it meets the dash? I have a mount I would rather not have to relocate if possible.

I have a Kickass shower enclosure on the passenger side to go with a Waterport. On the driver side is a 23zero 180° Compact Peregrine Awning.
