    i don't know that any brand specifies the lift load of the struts they're using. it's more of a "trust us, it works"

    Yes, I got the single strut kit, slightly longer rod then the dual kit, something like 8" extra trave over stockl. And it will not interfere with a snorkel kit if I ever get one or what ever else I do on the passenger side.

    What in the nonsense are you talking about? Hood struts are sold by length, they're not vehicle or manufacturer specific. Got a tape measurer? Good, then you're all set.
