Only thing you can hope for is the replacement speakers being more efficient.

I've been looking at the OEM Audio + systems due to the fact you can keep the stock radio. After watching some videos, it seems like a simple install but I just don't have the strength or flexibility to be able to install the amp and run the wires for power to the battery. I'll be sourcing a shop to do the install when I'm ready. From what I've heard its a great upgrade and sounds like customer service is pretty good too.

What I did with my 2020 SR5 was to replace all the factory speakers with Kickers in the Doors and the subaru/kickers in the dash. That yielded some improvement as those are more efficient have better material build quality and range. The next thing I did was add the universal Alpine powerpack mini amp that puts out 45 watt RMS x 4. Before I did that it was like the sound was better but there still wasn't enough power to really bring the Kickers alive properly. With the amp it plays plenty loud for me to jam out to my music of choice, usually 70s- early 2000s rock or country. If could use some more bass but I have a 150 watt powered sub from my old Jeep sitting on a shelf waiting to go in the truck. when I get round to that I think i'll be done and satisfied.
