So there is a wide gap between Front Bumper and Fender (driver side) than gap on the passenger side.

Brought it to my drealershit this morning, and they asked me to bring it back next week Tuesday, as that is the only available time the bodyshop is able to check it. I have to drop my Taco to the dealership, then they will send it to another place about 30 miles away, and I was told they will drive the vehicle there instead of hauling it.

This gap doesn't seem to bother me, knowing the vehicle was built in Mehico, and it feels solid when I try to push and pull the bumper, but then I think I should send it for "repair" as it is a brand new vehicle and shouldn't have this issue... but then knowing people don't care about their jobs, I'm thinking, what will they fuck up/damage while rectifying this gap???

I have looked at other Tacomas while I was there, and they don't have the same issue as mine.

I'm really torn and don't know what to do... what would you do if this was your Taco ????

Please look at pics I uploaded. First pic is where the gap is seen.Gap 01.jpg Gap 02.jpg

My opinion, if this were my truck/car - unless the gap was wide enough to slide a finger into (eg: people could notice it a mile away ask "wow, what's wrong with your truck?"), I wouldn't do anything about it. Cosmetic defects don't bother me too much. Structural/water leakage - that sort of defect would indeed concern me into taking action. Or maybe a significant dent.

I'm pretty easy going with my vehicles in this regard. I would not criticize someone who may be much more concerned about something like this.

If it feels solid when you push/pull on it, I would let it go..

The stealership is more likely to do more damage trying to fix it/driving it to be fixed/yada yada.
That risk isn't worth it [to me] to get that gap corrected..

My car has a body skirt piece that runs beneath the door - one clip is broken about midway thru the skirt so it pops out some.
To fix it, you have to break all the other clips, re/mount it and risk cracking the plastic it is mounted to.
It has been like this since 10K on the car [now at 102K] - plastic pieces never go back on as well as they came off [in my experience] so even though it annoys me, I'm not gonna fix it..
