Hi, I recently looked at a 2009 tacoma access cab which from the body looked amazing. When I looked at the frame I saw it had been painted and some spots were patched. Besides the patches, everything else looked decent. The only picture I took of the frame was of the unpainted part in the engine bay. I was wondering if the rust was average or if I am wasting money on a Tacoma that will not last.

2009 is out of time frame for a new frame if needed,I would keep looking for a truck with a decent frame, the paint over and patch on the one shown is a BIG hard pass.

It looks like it's missing a brake line?
