    Hey, any shock that is between stock extended length of 23.5" and maybe 25" will not benefit from poly bushings in the shackle, because the shock is the limit to droop at that point. If one is staying with that length shock for the foreseeable future, and staying with stock shackles, then I'd recommend staying with rubber bushings if you're running stock shackles as they're zero maintenance.

    The Achilles heal of the Tacoma rear suspension is the stock hanger, while the shackle is not bad. So the Hammer Hangers are the most important part of this upgrade, not as much the shackles.

    Eric,

    I originally installed my hangers in the extended length configuration. I'm now considering drilling the extra hole and moving them forward to the OEM position. Any problems with reusing the bolts when/if I do this, or would it be recommended to replace them like U-bolts?

    Has anyone used the Dobinson's greaseable leaf spring bolts in their Archive Garage Hammer Hangers/Fabbed Shackles? Just looking to make sure there is clearance.

    Will plan to drill out the bushing sleeve in the leaf pack so that grease has a slight chance of making it where it needs to go.

    Growing tired of my leaf springs creaking and squeaking and need to do anything to mitigate it. Losing my mind with dousing them in silicone spray weekly.
