I just bought a remanufactured steering rack from Toyota

    I didn't know Toyota sold remanufactured parts. It's not that much cheaper than new and I have to bring the core in, but still saves me $200. Comes with the inner tie rod too.

    They said they also have new. Since this is for a first gen (2001) I'm wondering if it's actually OEM. Or something different.

    Should be Toyoda markings on it. I wasn't aware that they still sold new. I thought they were all remans now.
