Battery charger question

    Anybody know is it safe to hook up a battery charger like a Battery Tender or a Noco to the truck battery, like with the alligator clips, while it’s still hooked up to the truck’s battery cables?

    Just didn’t want to cook anything. I figure the battery relay is open to the important stuff when the ignition is off but wanted to be sure.

    Nothing wrong with that at all, I did that with my Noco Genius5 all the time.

    No issues, I do it with my AGM to top it off. Per the manual you’re not supposed to exceed 5a charging while hooked up to the vehicle though

    Yes, I have a Noco Genius 2D mounted under the hood on all my trucks that's permanently attached to the battery. Just plug it up when needed.
