A good biker friend of mine was dying from cancer a few months ago. He asked me to stop by one day, we hung out a few hours and when I was getting ready to leave he gave me a box with his S&W no dash 66 in it. He was a engraver, and this was one of the first he ever did.

After he died his wife called me and asked me to help price his collection, because she was having a broker come over to give her a price on everything she didn't want to keep. I took pics of all them, and looked them up on Gunbroker completed auctions to get a price. She came out very well with the sell. A couple days later she stopped by and gave me his old Cetme and 300 rounds of ammo. I was most shocked and pleased at the same time.

The Cetme came with a black plastic stock, no bayonet lug, and the flash hider was pinned and welded. I fixed it to make it right.

Nice guns! Condolences for the circumstances on how you acquired them.

A little of this and a little of that.
Sincere condolences on the death of your friend. Cancer sucks.

Good on you for helping value the guns for your friends wife. He did nice work on the S&W 66.

Sorry you had to lose a friend , but nice guns. The M66 is an early no-dash, the stainless rear sight was only in the first year and a half of production.

    Thanks.

I have a no dash M67 that also has the all stainless rear sight. I collect pre lock Smith's.
