Install new tweeter they said, its easy they said.. (aka anyone know where to buy trim clips?)

It's plug and play they said!
Two hours later, a sliced up hand, and a plastic panel clip that has disappeared into a black hole, I finally got them installed!

Literally 20 seconds before finishing what up until then had been an easy job, the white plastic middle clip on the driver side airbag trim, as I was trying to get that on, fell into the hole next to the tweeter. I then spent the better part of 90 minutes tearing out various other panels, looking for a way to see inside there to get the clip. It seemed like to me that it should have been very simple to see where it went, as I had quite a lot of good angles into the area. But, it was nowhere to be found. At one point I had reached my hand up there behind the dash and ended up cutting the top of my hand in two spots as I was twisting it around. Thankfully I noticed before I got blood on the upholstery (buying some seat covers asap). About 20 minutes of that time was spent trying to get the kick panel back on....

Anyway, I ended up just putting it all back together without that clip, but I would like to get one on there at some point if anyone knows how to buy those. Hopefully they are a common size and I can just get them on Amazon.

Tweeters sound good at least

The one I am missing is round. It slots into the trim piece then pushes into a hole in the side.

 

Seriously? I am just searching for Tacoma door panel clips

 

Well I dunno if its technically a door panel.. it's on... is it called the A pillar? Has the SRS little panel you remove to undo a bolt...looks quite a bit like the red one in the middle of that screenshot. Well, I think. I lost it so I can't be certain
If they are pretty standard across lots of vehicles I am sure I can find one on Amazon. At the least I could ask my dealership if they have one although they might charge me 3000%.
