I'm one of the cool kids with chopped exhaust now.

And I can confirm that you can fit 33s under the bed with a little work. Thanks to @Supr4Lo for the tip to the thread with info on this!

Moved the spare hoist back a bit with 2 new holes drilled.

    Tucked up there real nice.

Snug against the exhaust hanger. I may remove that at some point.

    Now that's some quality R&D!

I really do like those things.

I really like 'em, too. Softer light than a lantern without the annoying. Takes up a lot less space, too.

    Looks great man!

Also, if you haven't thought about it, wool wax or fluid film is definitely worthwhile for the winter salt/brine. Your undercarriage looks fine at the moment and those products help keep it that way.

Absolutely. I bought a Wool Wax kit last fall, but it was a bit too late to apply, or I was a bit too lazy to apply... can't recall which. :D I did slather some on when I put my sliders on in spring. I need to get the rest of the frame and such covered in the coming weeks before snow flies.

Edit to add: I did have a rattle can of Rustoleum that I sprayed on the spots I drilled and hammered when getting the spare to fit.

An awesome dude @rockindoc75 hit me with a 16" steelie spare today on his way home, thank you very much, I sure appreciate it! I also thank all of the others in here who offered up a free 16" steelie spare. I no longer need one so now your steelies can go to @CygnusX191 :p

@CygnusX191 I have five of them. You could have come up and played with us this weekend and picked one up... Got to start thinking these things through. Play with truck is GOOD! Play with TW Wisconsin crew and truck is BETTER!!

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Well, the bad financial advise got put to use this weekend. Overall went well, nothing broke!
