Saw some comments. My trk is a 2017 trd sport . Noticed after I
Remove a few items I had in space that it’s bubbled. Saw a video how to relpace $40 part if change over the charger itself. 700 think said if want with new charger attached. After watching video I done $40 part it’s 8 more screws after do all the rest. Lol . But likely happen again. This dude used job weld to keep from bubbling. Not that charge will work after that. I finally have a phone I can use charging if I remove case. So still never use. But the bubble is annoying and cosmetic. Anyone tried maybe a slit lift and glue down? We’ll input the stuff I was storing …ok gum unused hand warmer in plastic still. Rubber gloves incase needed. I park in garage always and never sits more 8 hrs if drove to work. I don’t use charger. So it’s heat related it’s the engine compartment. I rarely use anything but defrost
N heat for 20 minutes cause
It takes a couple warm up and drive less 10 minutes to work. So again I call BS defect from build design, for cost of trk and my OCD I will hate it’s there but keep covering to not look at it.

I think I have the same issue if I'm understanding you correctly. I've contemplated cutting and super gluing if it's needed. Awaiting a rainy day I guess, especially since I have chargers elsewhere.

    Let me translate.

Hello Tacomaworld. My truck which is equipped with wireless charging developed a bubble on the rubber charging pad.

I do not use the charger and the truck has been parked in the garage and not exposed to heat.

Does it truly cost $700 to replace the charger? I have seen videos online where others have done it for $40 or less.

Perhaps I can just cut the bubble with the exacto knife, and glue it back down ?

    thanks for all the help.
