hey guys, I'm trying to remove this aluminum bumper support but it's quite damaged and covering up the bolt ends so it's impossible to get the nuts off. Any recommendations on how to get it off without damaging the bolts?

Will an open end wrench on the nut and a ratchet on the head of the bolt not work?
If it were me, I’d start with a wrench/ratchet on the head of the bolt.
Start loosening the bolt until the nut spins.
Once the nut starts spinning, use the open end of the wrench on the nut.
Hold the nut in place with the open end, back out the bolt on the head side?

Wrench. Replacing the crash bar? If so, cut it just past the studs then cut at the welds to make it so you can bend the aluminum in to access the nuts.

I wish it were that easy...the bolts are welded to the frame bracket and will not move. It has to come off on the nut side

    Yeah.
Since that part is toast anyway, I'd cut it out of the way with a cutting wheel.

Having someone run a red light peeled mine right off and the bolts looked to be just fine. Truck was totalled though :burp:

That's exactly what happened to me too...obviously my damage wasn't as bad, but same situation. They didn't total my vehicle

Diablo sawzall blades for the win.
An angle grinder would work too.
But I just can’t stand all the mess it makes.

Looks like openend box wrench should work.
