Anyone in here have the black carpet they took out to replace with this vinyl they would want to sell?
Looking to remove the nasty gray carpet from my 2010 double cab and replace with black but was looking to see if anyone had decent condition oem carpet up for grabs.

Thinking about this "mod" for my 2014 AC MT. A shame that it was only $50 (!) as a dealer option, but now costs $500 + tax & ship, and a day's worth of my labor, to do.

In another old thread about these OEM vinyl floor mats, people said they have felt padding underneath, which makes sense for both comfort and durability, but that if the vinyl flooring gets really soaked, the padding underneath holds moisture well and starts to mold & stink up just like the normal factory carpet does.

Anyone have any comment or experience with that? I would think that it's much harder to dry out soaked padding underneath vinyl mats (with a big fan & maybe even exterior heat source) than with the stock carpeting.

You just pull it out and leave it in the sun with a strong fan blowing on it. The padding does retain water if it's soaked, but it's solvable with a little effort.

Same here. Carpet is just stupid.
"hey, lets put this stuff that stains really easily and soaks up liquid ON THE FLOOR of a truck"
Why? why would anybody want carpet?

My floor didn't have any padding underneath. If it comes with felt padding now, I would recommend tearing it off and using some sort of rubber padding instead.

carpet and padding does quiet down road noise a little bit.

Get the part number from the front page here and maybe google search?
I ordered mine a decade ago and the only place that could get it back then was toyota.
You could just call a local dealership with the part number and get it that way.
The dealership told me back then that the part was only for a 2012+ but it fit just fine in my 2005

I got mine about a 7 or 8 months ago and it fit my 2009 perfect. I did have some sound dampening/padding material underneath that was identical to what is underneath the carpet. It only underneath the feet areas of the floor and so far it hasn't soaked up anything and I've gotten mine pretty wet. Anything short of filling up your floors with a water hose and you will be perfectly fine. You won't regret it

Bumping this request. If one of the folks installing an all-weather flooring mat could take a photo of the backside laid out to show where the padding and blocks are placed, I'd sure appreciate it.

I picked up my flooring from McGeorge this morning. I also discovered that some of the felt and hard foam pieces had detached from the underside of the flooring. @4xdog - here are a few pics if helpful.

I’ll post up pics of the install once done.

I’ve wanted to do this model for a couple years, however, I have to get creative with my backseat, or lack of.

I have a 2015 access cab but that was the year that you could get the utility package and I found that out by doing my research when I ordered my truck so I can put vinyl flooring it but I’m gonna have different open seems in Bohol locations because the vinyl floor never made it into a utility package truck.

I’m trying to talk myself into getting some kind of better OEM audio subwoofer upgrade because it would bolt in where the factory holes would be for rear seatbelt buckles for which I do not have right now lol…

For those that installed the double cab...do these clips come with the all weather flooring?
    clips.jpg

Also if someone can post a pic for these clips...curious is it covers the whole completely or still leaves the metal floor exposed. It'll suck to replace the floor for easier cleaning only to get stuff to fall through those holes. That's the one thing that has kept me from pulling the trigger on this unless someone has come up with a solution.

That’s my truck and looking back at my pics from a few yrs ago, I think I had to remove the clips from the stock carpet in the first picture.

for the second one, the clips look like this. Part number 08210-00820

Here’s how it is with the stock floor mats

Forgot to tag you on it but also didnt know whos still on the forum since this is an old thread.

Mine doesn't have those small clips for the rear. I'll call around some dealers and see if they still give out the clips free.

Im content with that much metal showing. I thought those holes would've been more exposed.

These toggle-style front mat retention hooks are unique to the all-weather interior.

The earlier, smaller bent-hook style often given away free at dealers might work, but IMO aren't as optimized as the correct retainers.
