Have around 107K on my 2017 and get scared whenever I pop the hood..

With all the talk about 2GRFKS engine and coolant related failures on this forum, I have to breathe a sigh of relief whenever I check around the engine bay, and my oil and coolant levels at the gas station, as I did yesterday before a lengthy road trip in the A.M.. All was good and the oil looked clean, as I approach my 5,000 mile OCI. Seeing that I have one of the "worst years" of the 3rd Gens, I hope my luck holds out....

I will give a word of advice on towing a small trailer without a spare, DONT do it. I wasn't prepared with a spare, as I usually stay local, I brought everything I thought I would need, to help my BIL, including a tire repair kit, but that didn't help when the side wall got ripped by a piece of metal and took the tire off the rim on the roadway. Not much help on a Sunday, when even HF doesn't have any tires or tire /rim combos in stock. Delayed us by about 3 hours, causing me to miss the 1st half of Eagles game..

Over 50k miles in 9 months from brand new. Nothing. At. All. The failures on here pale in comparison to those that don’t have issues.
