Bed mat. That way you can use it like a truck.

Drive it for a while and get to know it before spending your money on something you may not need.

If you want looks for your truck and not useablity ( I made that up) then ignore the previous and do whatever your wallet allows.

    Undercoating!

Bed mat is a must. (stock Toyota one is good) Bed lights, remote tailgate lock and locking gas cap are nice to have.

All-weather floor mats and seat covers. Rav4 knobs for the radio, and the center console tray.

The stock SR headlights are ‘adequate’ (meet legal minimums?) so fog lights are a must, for me.

2nd bank account, to support your TW-induced, must-do mods addiction.

And remember, don’t blame TW, you came to us looking for a hit. I mean hint. We don’t want to hear “I bought parts… but I didn’t install.”

I just bought mine last year so I'll give you the badass budget upgrades lol:

    • Center console organizer tray.. cheap but useful
    • Glove box dividers (+some double sided tape to make it stick) cheap but useful
    • Center console fake leather cushion cover.. cheap and feels nice
    • Clazzio real leather seat covers... amazing upgrade to the feel of your interior for how much it costs
    • Tonneau cover.. shockingly cheap on Amazon for such a useful upgrade and at least the cheap one I got I've been extremely pleased with.. bought it a year ago for $172 on sale :D Tyger auto
    • LED bulbs upgrade with just the bulbs.. yea people will shit on this but the light pattern looks completely fine to me still, never get highbeam flashed and its such better light if yours doesn't have LEDs when you buy it.
    • Running boards ESPECIALLY if she won't be a pavement princess (even if she will they look cool lol).. save yourself a lot of heartache from side body damage.. not as good as rock sliders but still much better protection than nothing and pretty cheap.. i have cheap $200 tyger auto ones i've been very happy with and they feel super solid.. decently thick steel.. don't get ones with steps if you are gonna use them as cheapo rock sliders, those steps get caught on rocks easy.
    • DS18 tweeters are a huge upgrade for pretty cheap
    • Obviously TRD Pro grill and raptor lights.. it adds at least 50hp.
    • Next Up: 4runner 17 inch black TRD wheels and 33 inch pizza cutters tires. They apparently fit stock suspension no rubbing

Hear me out guys... Maybe some dude asking for mods for his new truck might just prefer to extend his payments out an extra couple months if it means he can enjoy some nice upgrades to the enjoyment and usefulness of his truck for those 5 or 6 years. Some of ya'll are condescending as fuck.

Many have recommended the oem bed mat. I am in a similar situation in that I just drove mine home from the dealership yesterday, and have been wanting that bed mat. Unfortunately Toyota isnt selling it any more if you have the 6 foot bed, so you might need to find a used one. Pretty sure you can still get the 5 foot one though. Grats on the new truck! :)

Thank you to everyone for the suggestions. I pulled the column shroud and found that I am not pre-wired for fogs, so that's out. I probably won't drive it much until the end of May 2024 because I won't need to.

Here's what's been done so far:
    - cup holder
    - glove box organizer
    - console tray
    - LED backup and license bulbs
    - Fluid Film on the underside
    - ION Alloy series 171 wheels (need to install)

Here's what's ordered and on the way:
    - Rough Country neoprene seat covers
    - Power Bulb Night Breaker H11
    - Diode Dynamics map light LED's and aux backup/brake lamp
    - lockable lid for the bed storage box
    - Tufskinz mud flaps with the yellow/orange/red scheme
    - Tufskinz grille badge and rocker panel decals (why do they call them rocker panel protector when they are on the doors???) with the yellow/orange/red scheme
    - Tufskinz tailgate letter inserts
    - hood struts
    - OEM bed mat
    - OEM door edge guards

Here's what I'll be doing next weekend:
    - AC drain hose mod

    Later this month:
    - paint correction, front end PPF, ceramic

    Next spring:
    - lighted visor swap
    - hopefully some RWL 265/75R16 tires

Thinking about this for my license plate.

I’ve not done too many mods to my 21 OR but am happy with all of them. Here they are listed in order by what I consider to be the most important.

    1. KDmax Tune. I would have sold the truck the 1st year w/o the tune.
    2. Heated seats
    3. Soft bed cover
    4. Bed mat
    5. Remote tailgate lock

While it's still new I highly recommend going over it with a clay bar then ceramic coat it.... you won't regret it.
I went the cheap route and did it myself when my truck was about a month old.

I used Meguiar's Clay Bar kit and 303 Graphene Nano. Took almost a day taking my time but made a party out of it with music and a few brewski's. Truck is now 3 years old and I've re-treated it once and it still looks brand new.

I've done many mods (it's an addiction), but the ones I really appreciate for safety is the Taco Clout wide angle mirrors and Meso ultimate dome and map lights. Half my driving is early morning and the red lights are great when I need them.

Hard to beat a professional ceramic coating thats done well. Imo, all comes down to the shop doing it. Expect at least 2 days.
