Hey everyone, I'm looking to install new tires and wheels but have a question/concern. I want to go with Fuel rebel 6's 17x9 -12 offset. Tires would be 255/80r17 Toyo Open Country at 3. My concern is that the toyos says rim range up to 8.5 in. Would this mean this option isn't possible? Anyone else have past experience with this? Thanks in advance!

Can you run them on a 9 sure should you no. That will stretch the bead past the width of the tread. It'll look a little funky and if you ever want to air down the odds of popping a bead are quite high.
    I wouldn't put a 255 on anything wider than an 8 more realistically a 7 or 7.5 is ideal.
Offset should be fine with thr skinny

@gvanni Toyo recommends a wheel width no greater than 8.5 wide for the 255/80R17. Ideal would be as @Veet-88 suggested, 7-7.5 wide.
