If you have a stock diff it is not limited slip. You might be confusing the AutoLSD traction control mode with a mechanical limited slip differential. You wouldn’t be the first to do so.

Yes there are aftermarket lockers and gears. Internet search is your friend.

Sorry all, yes, my post was crap! Thanks gudujarlson Yes, I have searched (even GPT chat) however, the variables on Tacoma's are vast and unspecific in the many options to choose. Was hoping someone at TW would have my same truck and share what they did. The fact that gudujarlson schooled me about my diff was very helpful.

There are only 2 diffs on the 3rd gens. The 8” and the 8.75”. Trucks with the e-locker (OR and Pro) and those with a manual transmission have the 8.75 and everything else has the 8. You should be able to find the part numbers on this site or at parts.Toyota.com.

I see you edited your post to mention AutoLSD, but keep in mind AutoLSD has nothing to do with the diff. You have a regular open diff. I suggest just leaving AutoLSD out of your post.

I’m not sure why you deleted the part about 8” because that is important. You need to either say which diff you have or which transmission. I’ve been assuming you have the auto thus the 8” diff.

I don't know why everyone here has to post like a twat when they absolutely understand exactly what you mean.

You have the 8" since you have a sport. You want this:

If you want to add a locker at the same time you have more options.

I agree with that. The OP’s first post, edited since then, was a bit hard to read but not deserving of that response.
