I know, 10:00am every A.B.C. store is supposed to have 100 bottles. They are not going to release what bottles are at each individual store. I live 2 minutes away from a store so I'll be in the top 5 in the door. There will be lines. Just not sure what I'm going to grab. I saw an Knob creek 18 year old that looks interesting but we'll see what's at my store.

 

My favorite is 4 roses small batch select.

 

Gold showed up at a bar a county north about a month ago, they can only buy from the state. The state has a warehouse code for it, so it did get a US release. I guess in years past it’s been select non-US countries only?

 

where are you at? I’m driving home from ocracoke/OBX…I’m hoping that I’ll be hitting the small out of the way stores and do okay, not expecting miracles but I’ll take what I can get

Sounds familiar. Except in my case they’re old enough for eye rolls and deep sighs. More subtle but cuts deeper.

 

No idea, use to have a local fave years ago but they went out of business or something. Haven't found one again yet.

 

Boise…from what I hear about Idaho you guys have reasonably good access to hard to find bottles…

But if you’re just looking for something basic and easy to find that you can enjoy, best bet is to try something new every time you’re out at the restaurants or bars and you’ll figure it out soon enough. Everyone has different tastes.
