    Express-up safety device
The problem with express-up windows is that there is a possibility of an obstruction in the window that you are not paying attention to. For example, you may use the express-up power window button to roll the rear window up while your child decides to put their arm out the window. A safety device is needed to prevent a crushing injury.

There is a safety device that goes along with all express-up window switches known as auto-reverse. This device uses a sensor on the power window motor to detect if there is extra stress on the motor before it reaches its upper limit. If it detects an obstacle in the way, it triggers the anti-pinch function and reverses the window direction. It will either roll the window completely down, or roll down a few inches and stop.

I sold my led-halogens locally for $300 to a guy that flips rebuilds. He said that’s what he usually pays, but snaps them up when he sees them cheaper.
I freaked myself out about what I’d do if one of my Oem leds failed. Paying full price at the only dealer isn’t something I’d want to do, and freight shipping these things took forever. Bought another set of led-halogens to sit in the shed for $200.
But prices for everything in Alaska are way out of sync with the real world. YMMV

5.79 cash for gas. Yuck. 3.09 here, but CA probably provides more services.:rofl::rofl:
The cash and credit delta of 10 cents is puzzling. Same here in FL/ other states I’ve noticed. Isn’t the card fee typically 3% which would make $5.79 cash 5.96 credit?

If you have Baja Designs lights the taco garage makes some limited edition covers (Santa, smiley, jack o lantern, ect).

I feel you brother! When I moved to the Outer Banks in 1983, didn't need a permit for anything. Now, permit for this, that and everything. Hell, I think now you need a permit to get a permit!! Progress?? Nah, just another way for the government to get into your pocket even deeper than they already are.

You're lucky to find the one you have, plus in good shape, an added bonus! I looked for an '83 Supra for 5+ years, if I could find one it was in such bad shape a junk yard probably wouldn't have taken it. I guess there aren't many out there, my dream car for sure. Maybe find one some day. Congratulations again on your find, I'm sure you're going to enjoy it!

Thank you very much Shayne! Been really hard, but staying positive! Support from family and friends is so important, you can't do this by yourself.

Yep... Fork out money for nature...I get it that people make messes and these natural habitats need to be maintained, beaches need to be patrolled, lifeguards need to get paid, but a season pass to the beach here in south Jersey is around $25 (town dependent). A day pass is $7. I leave the beach the way I found it.. I don't bury trash or make a mess. I see a lot of folks who feel entitled to leave a mess because "they paid for it".

It's these local towns/governments reaching into your pocket now at every opportunity and charging a lot of money to boot.

My wife and I were pulled out of the water by the game warden a few weeks ago and asked for fishing licenses .... I said we are kayaking.... Not fishing.....I don't even have a fishing pole. He said you have a fishing kayak and a net. You need a license . Luckily we were on our way back in anyhow.

I hear you though. Just to do basic stuff it seems like the average Joe is getting taxed to be on the water, beach, in the woods, on the trail, or in the hills. Nature for profit...what a racket.

It's really pretty random, very few officers and lots of people. I've only been kinda checked once, took some long time friends offshore fishing and caught a nice bluefin tuna, when I docked the boat, an officer came over and checked to see if we had tagged the tuna. He never asked to see any of our licenses.

There are two wildlife officers that live in my neighborhood, friends with both, they say there's way to many people to check, they usually only have time to check you if they see you do something wrong.

Lots of people get upset about the beach closures. I get it to a point, you've got to help protect wildlife. But, funny thing about the closures. A few years ago, the beach was closed due to the danger to the turtles with beach driving fishermen. Three turtles were run over that fall, two by game wardens! So, close the beach to protect against the public?

That sucks that happened to you. I was gonna say, if I go to Lowe's/Home Depot, I always park as far back as I can... like as SOON as I pull into their lot to avoid crap like this.

edit: Picked up a legit Pro grill from a buddy for $50, he also gave me his Hooke Road tailgate cover, got a good deal on Iceco's VL45 Pro S fridge AND they let me keep all the beer and soda they had in it
