yep, i've searched all over the forum for just what i'm looking for, but no luck. :(

got my 2023 access cab pretty much where i want it, but just one last piece that's driving me nuts -- sorry, but running boards.

i've got the toyota aluminum ones now, and dammit i like 'em, but they're too stinkin' high. all the drop-steps only seem to drop about 3.5", and that's just not gonna work. still gotta duck way too much to get into the truck.

the amp power is a great height, but i don't want the potential issues that come along with it -- i need a no-power version i can just fold up and down. found something that's got the idea, but it's jeep only, and still doesn't look low enough:

Rampage RockGuard Retractable Nerf Bars for Jeep - 2" Diameter - Black Powder Coated Steel Rampage Nerf Bars - Running Boards RA88732 (etrailer.com)

this was mostly just a small rant, but i'm open for any suggestions. :D

actually, with all my searching, i did come across this. trying to figure out if i've got the nerve to try something like this, cause i do like having the bar there. of course, i did already drill the bed to install the extender. :)
