last (for now) piece of my tacoma puzzle

yep, i've searched all over the forum for just what i'm looking for, but no luck.

got my 2023 access cab pretty much where i want it, but just one last piece that's driving me nuts -- sorry, but running boards.

i've got the toyota aluminum ones now, and dammit i like 'em, but they're too stinkin' high. all the drop-steps only seem to drop about 3.5", and that's just not gonna work. still gotta duck way too much to get into the truck.

the amp power is a great height, but i don't want the potential issues that come along with it -- i need a no-power version i can just fold up and down. found something that's got the idea, but it's jeep only, and still doesn't look low enough:

this was mostly just a small rant, but i'm open for any suggestions.

actually, with all my searching, i did come across this. trying to figure out if i've got the nerve to try something like this, cause i do like having the bar there. of course, i did already drill the bed to install the extender.
