    Stock as can be
I decided to replace my stock tonneau cover with an aftermarket one which requires weather-stripping. I've run into a bit of a snag. The stock over required the bed rail protectors to have 3 slots cut out of them for the cover to lock down onto. So it appears I need to either cover these holes or replace the protectors (the 5ft pieces of plastic on the top of the bed siderails). Come to find out, these are very expensive from Toyota, like absurd for what they are. Has anyone found a workaround to this or found an aftermarket piece that will work? Heck, anyone parting out a 3rd Gen that has these available? Trying to not blow a bunch of money on a piece of plastic here.

I'm putting a factory bed cover on a new 2023 Pro. I have bought the bed rails with cutouts from the dealer and will be selling the factory rails for cheap. I'm waiting for the dealership to call and say the Pro is ready for pickup. Just waiting on a part for the airbag system as this new Pro's vin falls under some issues needing a new sensor before it can be released to the owner. So if your interested send me a PM and we can work out some details. I have the boxes the new rails came in and can ship them on your dime.
